This visual sample tracking and colour-shift qPCR master mix is build on qPCRBIO SyGreen® chemistry and is designed for maximum workflow confidence, not just amplification.
qPCRBIO SyGreen® Chameleon Kit combines qPCRBIO SyGreen® Blue Mix with yellow SampleTrack Buffer, and is optionally available with a 20x UNG/dUTP additive to minimise amplified DNA carryover contamination.

Powerful qPCR with sample tracking
Mastermix and SampleTrack Buffer colours are bright and intense making it easier to track component addition and colour changes during reaction setup. Combined, the performance edge and user-friendly features make this kit ideal for high throughput setups, multi-user workflows and training scenarios. This kit lets you work with increased confidence, by reducing pipetting errors, which lead to empty wells and failed qPCR reactions. Multiple users can perform workflows, with one handler adding master mix and another adding samples, speeding up high-throughput or multi-plate qPCR projects.
Prevent carryover contamination & false positive results
False positives in PCR frequently occur because previously amplified PCR products are carried over via pipettes or imperfectly cleaned work surfaces. The 20x UNG/dUTP additive optionally provided with the qPCRBIO SyGreen® Chameleon Kit prevents such carryover contamination, as all PCR-amplified products will incorporate dUTP, subsequent reactions begin with a UNG (uracil N-glycosylase) activity phase, which degrades the uridine residues in any previously amplified DNA, rendering them unusable as PCR templates and eliminating false positives, or misamplification of such contaminants.

qPCRBIO SyGreen® Chameleon Kit consistently outperformed Thermo PowerTrack SYBR Green Master Mix and Qiagen QuantiNova SYBR Green PCR Kit competitor SYBR Green-based mixes. Beta microtubulin 2 and succinate dehydrogenase subunit A were used as targets in 20 μL reactions, setup according to each manufacturers instructions. Five serial template dilutions were used in triplicate technical reactions with each mix.
